Admission Procedure


Admission dates for admission in all the courses are advertised in the News Papers when AJK Baoard of Intermediate and Secondary Education announces the results of Matriculation examination. All the admissions are completed according to the schedule announced. The Admisssion Schedule and other related information can also be obtrained from the Principal & Chairman of the admission committees.
For admission in Diploma of Asssociate Engineer in "Information & Communication Technology(ICT), and Civil Technology". Applicant will apply for admission on the prescribed form attached with the prospectus.
Each applicant will have following minimum qualification and requirements.

(a) Matriculation in 2nd division minimum with Science Subjects.
(b) Age of maximum upto 18 years.

Attested copies of domicile certificate, state subject certificate, Character Certificate from school, Matric result card and one recent passport size Photo-graph should be attached with application form.


Admission in Short courses

Applicants will apply for admission on prescribed form attached with Prospectus minimum qualification requirement for admisssion in trade courses is matriculation with science subjects. There is not any age limit for admission in Trade Courses.



Selection of Candidates

As per admission schedule announced Merit List of the candidates is prepared by the admisssion Committee of the Institute on the basise of Percentage of Total Marks Obatined in Matric fresh Matriculates are perferrred. for old students 5 marks are deducted for each year. Merit list of selected candiates is displayed on the Notice board of the college and on website and not any spartate call letter is issued to the selected candiates. If two applications have equal marks then preference will be given to that applicant whose marks of Physics, Chemistry, mathematics and English are more. However, again if the marks are equal then suitability will be checked by the admission committee.
After initial selection certificates of students and all other documents are verified by the college from respective board or office. In case of any wrong information provided by the application on the admission form or on the certificate, the adinssion of that student involved will be cancelled. The candidates falling in the merit list for all courses are reqired to appear for an interview before the admisssion committee with all origninal documents along with parent/Guardian as per admission schedule and requirements. If a selected candidate does not appears for an interview with orgininal documents before the admission committee as per schedule announced then he will be waited only for one day and on the next day his selection will be cancelled and admission committee will contact the next waiting candidate for admission.
Merit List & Interview of Selected Candidates
As per admission schedule merit list of the selected students is displayed on the notice bard of the College. Applicant himself will be responsible to contact the principal office personallly or on Phone Number 05-824-960037 to get information about the merit list. If a student falls in the merit list, he will be required to appear for an interview before the admisssion committee along with Parent or guardian, as per admisssion schedule. At the time of interview applicant will provide following documents before the admisssion committee.

a) Original Copies of all documents(Matric result card, domicile & State subject certificate)
b) Four Photocopies of Matric result Card.
c) Eight Passport size Photographs.
Migration certificate from other Boards to Punjab Board of Technical Education, Lahore is needed after admission. Its procedure should be followed as per directions of the institute.
